How Divine Intervention works?
The other day in CIC, one of my students shared that they had suggested a remedy to a client who was experiencing relationship problems. When the client reported back that things were only getting worse and expressed a lack of harmony, my student began to wonder if they had offered the wrong advice.
Intrigued, I examined the client’s situation and uncovered an unsettling truth: the relationship was not just difficult—it was abusive. The remedy suggested was not the issue; rather, it was the expectations tied to it that were misaligned.
In the context of sattvic jyotisa, a remedy often symbolizes a heartfelt request for divine intervention. It serves as an invitation for a higher power to step in with its profound wisdom, acting in the best interest of the individual. It's important to recognize that we do not want to dictate to the deities what to do. Consider the analogy of a child who dislikes the taste of soil and pleads with their mother to sweeten it. What the child fails to understand is that a wise mother—much like a higher deity—knows that true nourishment and fulfillment of the child's plea for sweetness comes in the form of a mango, not sugar-mixed dirt.
In this specific case, the fervent invocation of a mantra needed to align with the seriousness of the abusive circumstances. The solution involved dismantling the abusive relationship, whether by making it unbearable for the victim or by empowering the individual to stand their ground, rather than diluting the situation enough to tolerate it further.
When we invoke a facet of consciousness that genuinely desires our ultimate well-being, our responsibility ends there. They navigate the complexities of our lives, providing solutions that may not meet our immediate desires but instead serve our highest good. Instead of settling for quick fixes from lower entities, we should seek guidance from higher conscious deities. It is not about figuring everything out before seeking help( don't overwhelm yourself with such a burden); rather, it is about inviting wisdom to discern what is truly right and 'allowing that' to manifest. Let's clear the way.
