Remedies: The reason all of this matters

In the absence of remedial measures, the elaborate framework of Jyotisha, with its fastidious diagnostic capabilities, would be rendered nugatory, akin to a labyrinthine puzzle devoid of a solution.

Consequently, the implementation of remedies assumes paramount importance within the paradigm of Jyotish, serving as the crucial linchpin in endeavors to mitigate the karmic burden and extricate oneself from the cyclical patterns of suffering that have precipitated our afflictions. By virtue of its emphasis on remediation, Jyotish transcends mere diagnostic acuity, ascending to a holistic system of self-liberation and transcendence

Whatever deeds and actions an aspirant or seeker does or undertakes to do to achieve his goal are successful through the medium of a Mantra. The Mantra is a medium by which desired results are easily and comfortably attained; they are aids to one’s
fulfillment of desires and objectives in life—whether mundane or spiritual. A Mantra makes the attainment of the desired goal a certainty.
-Ram Purva Tapini Upanishad, Canto 1, verse 12

Mantra works on the subtle aspects of the mind and invites changes by clearing the blockages from the source level. Mantra is inviting a facet of the divine consciousness of a flavor you’d like more in your life. However, the deity is not different from you. E.g. ‘Lakshmī’, commonly seen as the goddess of prosperity, exists within you as your capacity to produce abundance, prosperity, and beauty.

Invoking her is invoking that divine capacity- which is subject to manifestation according to our karma. Mantras are a way to mitigate the karma by inviting the grace of the deity. The rigidity of the karma will show how long it will take to see changes.

In doing a mantra, the karma (e.g. if someone hurt their spouse in an incarnation, they are likely to lack a relationship in this life, or suffer relationship problems) that created that block in us, we attack that tendency of ours that made us act in a fashion that we hurt a certain signification of our life. Therefore, a mantra can mitigate karma because it changes what made that karma happen from you.

If required, based on your blockages, the consultation will have a way to carry out a mantra practice.

Note: Planets have an archetypal understanding that makes our options of deities secular. If you are from a non-Hindu faith, it won’t bereft you from having the benefits of a deity practice. Eg. If you are a Muslim, I’ll use the 99 names of Allah to support your transformation; If sikh, the 10 gurus will come into our use; If Christian, we’ll work with angels, Mary, and such

If you are an atheist, we will work with some seed syllables that won’t trigger your resistance towards working with something you don’t have empirical evidence of.

Mantra - what numinous energy resides within its syllables

Pooja: The mystical capacity of devatas to reweave the fabric of what appeared to be an unalterable reality

sahayajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛṣṭvā purovāca prajāpatiḥ
anena prasaviṣyadhvameṣa vo’stviṣṭakāmadhuk 3-10

Having created mankind along with (the spirit of) sacrifice at the beginning of creation, the creator, said to them, “You shall prosper by this; may this yield the enjoyments you seek.

devānbhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ
parasparaṃ bhāvayantaḥ śreyaḥ paramavāpsyatha 3-11

With this, you do nourish the gods, and may those DEVAS nourish you; thus nourishing one another, you shall attain the Highest Good.

As elucidated in the Bhagavad Gita, propitiating the celestial beings (devas) ensures the bestowal of all desirable blessings upon humanity. Pooja, a sacred ritual, stands as a potent means of appeasing these divine entities. While it does not imply a negation of karma's influence, it constitutes a deliberate attempt to invoke transformative assistance, soliciting divine grace to reshape our reality. Intrinsically, the practice of Pooja encompasses a plethora of rigorous protocols and ascetic disciplines, aimed at purifying our character and thereby inviting both inner and outer metamorphosis

Sharing: A Sacrosanct Duty, Uninfluenced by Individual Inclination

Charitable giving exerts a profound influence upon our lives, even when its effects appear indirect. The universe, comprising consciousness as its fundamental essence, is perpetually shaped by thought. Every notion and deed instantaneously resonates, manifesting reality's intricate tapestry. With each passing moment, our thoughts and actions reverberate, impacting our own existence, the lives of others, and the environment.

Through philanthropic gestures, such as supporting homeless shelters, children's education, and abused women's shelters, we can precipitate immediate, tangible transformations in our personal lives. Although these causes may seem distant or unrelated, they possess the power to directly modulate the influences on our lives.

Enlightened giving serves as a potent means of balancing karmic debts, unlocking new avenues, and ushering in novel possibilities. As our thoughts and actions harmonize, the doors to fresh opportunities swing open, allowing our lives to unfold with renewed promise. Thus, the act of donation is, in essence, not a benevolence bestowed upon another, but rather an indemnity paid to oneself. It constitutes a repayment of our existential debt, a balancing of the cosmic ledger, wherein the universe's generosity is acknowledged and reciprocated.
