Meet the Teacher
I'm Divyam Sharma, founder of divyam.life. My quest has been to discover what lies beyond our visible senses. An appeal to the enigmatic. This led me to study the Tantric philosophy as elucidated by Abhinavagupta, where I was exposed to teachings that met exactly what I was looking for. Then, as the topic of Karma came up in my studies, I became fascinated with it. All of a sudden, a hope that life might not be entirely random dawned upon me. This eventually brought up the topic of jyotiṣa–an ancient Vedic discipline that illuminates the path forward, offering insights into the intricate dance of time, space, and human destiny.– and when it grew interesting enough for me to offer my intellectual flame in the Vedic fire (jyotiṣa is a Vedanga, or limb of the Veda, related with the eyes), I was blessed with direction to study this. As I walk this path, I'm absolutely humbled by the grace of Jagannath and my Gurudev Sri Sanjay Rath (and his senior students), who have taught me everything right that I know of jyotiṣa:
